 Yes, but you still wind up with a product using an excessive number
of parts and excessive construction costs. It will necessarily,
axiomatically be less reliable unless you have a secret stash of parts
whose reliability is 100%.

 The nuke weapons people will be wanting to know where you're getting
them because despite millions of dollars  spent on extreme reliability
they are at no better than six-nines and usually four or five.

 Give what you have on hand (or sell it) to some one who needs it for
what it is and get the correct part.

 Or are you the ****head that insisted on building an amp around the
4D32 tubes Collins owners badly need and is worthless for audio?
