Hehe. I wouldn't know but it's certainly past mine. Maybe not outside
the budget of some amps costing as much as a small car, though.

But the 'challenge' made wasn't to find a 'cheap' one. Trevor implied
they didn't exist and I just pasted the first thing that came from
less than a minute of looking.

They still are, though.

Adding seatbelts to a car is a safety feature to the same basic
principle as the car itself is still the same multi-ton bomb hurling
down the road, rather like adding an expensive relay to the HV power
supply.

And some people still argue the tube rectifier sounds better.

Nice God, mother and apple pie generalities but they don't address the
issue.
