More on "cheater plugs"

by "BretLudwig" <bratzirules@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 16, 2008 at 07:47 AM

Anyone with any military surplus US test equipment has probably seen the
Keydick plug. The Keydick plug is a two pin male 110-120 plug with the
third grounding pin externally mounted on a hinge so that one may use or
not use it.

It's called a Keydick plug because its invention is attributed to one Don
Keydick. That's what the flip over prong looks like to some, I guess.

I can't find a picture of one online anywhere right now. Perhaps someone
else knows the proper nomenclature for what I am talking about. You see
them at hamfests all the time.
