The cost per annum to each US taxpayer has been about $3,000 for the 
Iraq - Afghan wars so far.

It was supposed to cost only 5 billion of taxation to overthrow Sadam
and 
find Osama and hang both these ****s, and then McDonalds could move onto
each Iraq street corner and make a buck, and then the oil companies 
would be free to invest 20 billion over 20 years to get the Iraq oil.
This rosy outcome probably would have put the US about 
2 trillion in front, left the iraq and afghan ppl just 
slightly better off, but it doesn't look like its gonna work out like 
the original plan said it should.

But happily, I do like very many Americans.
