A "normal" person would never have written such tripe and so would
never be in the position to need to clarify.
A psychiatrist was giving a potential donor a tour of his facility for
the Terminally Foolish. During the tour, the donor asked about how the
Doctor could distinguish between inmates and "normals". The Doc took
the donor into a room and showed him a bathtub full of water, a
thimble and a bucket. "We ask a potential inmate to choose the best
method to empty the tub, you see".
The donor then thought a few moments and asked: "So, a normal person
would choose the bucket, that seems clear".
Whereupon the Doc stated: "No, a normal person would pull the plug. Do
you want an exterior or a courtyard view?".
Don't mistake Bret for anything near normal - even on his very best
days.
