Yes, I know that. I've recorded it myself. I make a stereo recording to
a wave file that is 44.1 kHz sample-rate, 16-bit and stereo. I then
invert the left channel and then combine it with the right channel. I
then get a mono of the sound without what used to be panned to the
center. This is how those karaoke voice-cancellers work. I notice, after
this processing I use, the sounds are even better than what they used to
be.

No. I have nothing against sampling those sounds. However, they've got
to be sampled properly. They've got to be recorded into a wave file in
the manner that I do it [i.e. phase inversion of on stereo channel and
then conversion to mono at 44.1 kHz and 16-bit].
I've listened to sound cards that emulate Creative Music Synth. The
reason the sampled sound is so horrible is because it's not recorded and
processed the way I do it. Hence, it does sound like excrement. I've
listened to these stinky emulations on SB Live and Avance. They do not
at all have the paradisical qualities [rejuvenating, warmth, brightness,
freshness] associated with the really Creative Music Synth. When I
record sounds from my Creative Music Synth and process it my way, I get
what I want.
After I use the "voice-cancellation" method, the resulting sound is a
lot sharper, fresher, crisper, more rejuvenating -- and otherwise more
heavenly -- than what it sounds like if I don't use "voice-cancellation".
