Nopbody can change the first, for them at least, but they can make
English the native language for their American born children
by learning Englsih themselves and speaking it in the home.

That will help their children realize the second item.
ANd the immigrant parents can strive for college, too.

But we can always just willy nilly hand out some nice looking papers
and give them jobs as air traffic controllers.
