 Hum and it's harmonics.  At low levels I'm not sure they would
identify it as hum
but the absence might be "inky blackness" or some other vague
description.

In any case its a cable performance parameter I've not much paid
attention to and is not available on the usual RS, GE, RCA, or even
Monster stuff on the shelf.
