You didn't even hear your speakers before you built them. So not
exactly. Further, "accurate" is an inaccurate term.

The difference you overlook, of course, is that a reviewer critically
listens to more gear in a month than you have in your entire life.

I don't buy everything a reveiwer likes or recommends, but I'd
certainly trust, and give more value to, what most reviewers say over
what you do.
