You're right, but it is possible to construct a silent PC. With Zalman, 
Scythe, Silenx, and  Antec components engineered for quietness, I have a
PC 
which is at the threshold of audibility. It is inaudible in the presence
of 
any kind of recorded music, played at any listenable level.
