Silverado power wire routing

by RElmore <rrelmore@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 12, 2008 at 06:16 AM

I have a 2004 Silverado I need a 60A connection in the cab. I've
tried googling the group to see if there was any info, but mostly got
sigs with Silverado in them. <g>

Within the collective wisdom of this group I suspect a few of you may
have run power into a +/- 2004 Silverado or its ilk. If you have, how
did you route the wire? Did you find a pre-drilled hole to use or did
you have to drill?

FWIW, this is a under-dash 100W two-way radio install (plus other
extras, hence the 60A) and around the dash would be the ideal place
for wire entry as opposed to under the seats, but a factory hole
anywhere would be nice. Otherwise, helping me spot a place to drill a
hole will do.

Thanks in advance.
