Power wise it will have better output than most but that's another thread 
all on its own. The only negative I found was that the automatic setup of 
speakers via the unit and microphone, did not work as well as doing it 
yourself.  I sold Yamaha in the late 90's and it was always a workhorse 
with few problems.  A friend who is a service depot for the product sees 
very few Yamaha units in for warranty work.  There are some good reviews
on 
the web and this unit shines above most. If you buy it I would interested 
in your opinion of it.
