Kenwood KRF V-4530D

by Fred <Fred@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 7, 2005 at 02:01 PM

Hi,
I wonder if this is the right group but maybe you can help ?
I have a KRF V-4530D amplifier and a probleme with it ...
The sound come off when the amplifier is too hot : no big deal : just
stop it and let it cool down and everything is fine.
It was true for 2 years but this summer the sound came off and never
went back. In fact, it comes back for a few seconds when I switch the
speakers off and on but then comes off again (the sound is not
completely gone has I can hear it when I put the volume to -20dB ...)
Any idea ?
I thought it was a kinf of thermal fuse that could have gone weird but I
couldn't find anything like this when I opened the box (anyway I don't
know what it should look like)
I couldn't find any information on the web ...

Any advice appreciated
Thanks for your time
