I remember that as well, and the beginnings of work on a
faq.  TOo bad that project never got finished.

iF you like the newsreader interface of your choice and are
interested in discussions of live sound there is a live
sound conference on fidonet.  YOu've got to log in first via
telnet or the web, but once recognized use your newsreader
to participate.
INtelligent adults with an interest in the topic are most
