I just got a Crown XS500 off e-bay. It seems to work fine, but its
fans sound like little whiney turbines. Not a big deal in a live sound
environment, but still pretty loud. Way louder than my Altec 9444A.
Does anyone have first hand experience with this amp to know if this
is a sign if impending fan failure or is it normal?
