Good advice from George. Might also want to ditch that Hot Rod
DeVille in favor of something a little less prone to cause backaches
and ear-bleeding, like a Blues Jr. You guys aren't exactly
Guns'n'Roses, IYKWIM. I don't think I ever put my 2x12 DeVille past
1, and I had to put a volume pot in the effects loop to rein it in a
little more. It *wanted* to be louder, but those things crank out
enough to knock a house off it's foundation. I swapped it for a
little Traynor 15W 1x12 tube combo and my ears and my band thank me
all the time.
Oh yeah... I happen to have a Blues Jr for sale too, btw. :-)
