Been there, done that, didn't even ask for a t-****rt....

The only thing I might suggest is to ask the teacher to select a likely 
vict...er, 'assistant' from among the students, to help you keep track 
of things, change batteries, watch the stage for mics that have slipped 
and general gopher duties.  Give him a title and get him listed in the 
program credits; A2, Stage Manager, Production Assistant, RF 
Wrangler...whatever.  Show him around the board and outboard gear.

Who knows, you might be birthing a future sound engineer.  At the very 
least, you'll make some nerdish kid feel very im****tant for a couple of 
days.  At best, you'll make a friend and get some dedicated and valuable 
assistance.
