Phil, I hope you'll read what follows in the spirit with which I write
it....
I've been a "regular" of this group going on 7 years...not as long as
you, George, or some of the others, but enough to feel somewhat vested
in what happens here. It's kind of like being a distant relative in a
dysfunctional family. For instance, I take a lot of pleasure in seeing
how over the years things have progressed for George and I'm extremely
happy for him. When I came into this group, it was immediately apparent
to me that you had a great amount of knowledge and were willing to share
it with people who had problems to address. It was also evident that
you didn't suffer idiots, but at least you admitted it, told them what
you thought and generally moved on...I don't have a problem with that.
But as the years passed, you've become much more inflammatory and
seemingly begin to feel like this is "your" group. Witness your
repeated statements that Arny is dangerous, and you're trying to "save"
people from him. Phil, a tornado is dangerous....an armed person coming
at you is dangerous...a serious disease is dangerous. Arnie is an
annoyance, not a danger. OK, so what if people accept his
advice...maybe they spend some money unwisely. Maybe their PA doesn't
sound as good as it otherwise could....those things are NOT dangerous.
Anyone who doesn't anything based solely on one person's statements has
other problems they need to deal with anyway. Why should you, or any of
us, care about the "Fact is Arny has been exposed as a lying sack of
**** and every time I repost this I'll bet he squirms in embarrassment.

really make? In the meantime, your vendetta wastes your time, and
deprives us of the valuable knowledge you have. It drives away people
who could benefit from your years of experience.
I hope that maybe you'll realize that your tirades are pointless and a
waste of your time and energy and get back to discussing sound and
sharing your knowledge and experience. I guess I won't be surprised if
that doesn't happen, but I wanted to present my case as a "friend" and
fellow engineer. I hope you'll at least take the time to consider what
I've said and not dismiss it out of hand.
