NOt sure if his desk sup****ts that mod or not.  I know the
larger format Mackies used to, on some iirc it was as easy
as switching a jumper on a board.
tHis is the newer version of the 1604 iirc, not as versatile
a mixer.
check the schematics on the model you on and talk to a
reputable tech before you proceed.  YOu still might be
better served to sell or trade up to a mixer that offers you
the capabilities you need however.
iF you're finding the limitation in aux sends now, you'll
find other limitations soon enough that indicate it's time
for an upgrade.
