From your harping on about being a 'member', I guess you are 'subscribing'

through Google Groups, and think this is a Google Group.It isn't - it is
an 
open world-wide free-standing USENET Newsgroup that you are accessing 
through Google's clumsy web-based ****tal.

It is far much easier to post and read using a newsgroup client, even such

as Outlook Express. Posts appear as nested 'threads' in an email folder. 
You woul need to know your ISP's  NTTP server deatils to enter, or those
of 
a free Newsgroup server.
