Phildo was not contesting the origin of Xtianity, Arny, but the
reallity of it.

It seems to this impartial observer of this continuing (and numbingly
repetitive) jousting that Phildo is trying to be the voice of reason
and Arny is preaching in the voice of faith.

Now in the several millenia that this contest has been going on in the
real world, neither voice has emerged triumphant and that is because
they have no common ground on which to compete.  Faith demands the
suspension of reason and reason demands the rejection of faith.

You two should just "get over it", or in the words of the timeworn
cliche: agree to disagree.
