Phil,
Like I said, last time we were there we took our own illegal wirelesses
& had no problem. And the Shure rep that you turned me on to made it
clear that Shure has not had their frequencies cleared by the
AUTHORITIES THAT BE.

I will also mention that the AC converters that were provided the last
time we were there were 2 prong (no ground pin). When I turned on the
converter, I heard a LOUD BANG (like a firecracker) because one of our
wirelesses had Power Switch turned ON. It fried the XLR out on that
wireless. No SPIT!

I connected a 3-prong adapter w/ the ground pin hard wired to a water
pipe for the ground pin.

After that, for the wireless mentioned, we had to use the 1/4" out w/ a
direct box. That is now one of our spares. Now we use the AT 40000
series systems.

Illegal? The AT wirelesses have a scan mode that looks for frequencies
that are not used (when they are set up). And the transmitter only
transmit for 100 yards (meters).

Soooooo... Let us pray......
It is what it is.
