I didn't touch one, but got too close to the high-voltage power supply
on a radar. It arced, and burnt a hole completely through my finger. A
small one, but I still have the scar after 25 years.

25,000 volts -- good thing it was only a couple of milliamps, or I
wouldn't
be alive today.
