Question: How does the file appear on the Hi-MD? There *IS* a setting
on the recorder that causes it to place a track mark every place it sees
either a pause in input, (IE: period of relative silence) or every so
many seconds. If you have this setting set to either of those, what you
get is what you got.
On the other hand if it's set to "OFF". You should get one track
"Auto Track Mark" IIRC is the name of the setting on my Hi-MD,
(Different model than yours)
