I still use MD when I need to record low level stuff (ambient sound,
acoustic
music). The preamp on other recorders, such as Edirol R09, is much
noiser.
Now, the Sony PCM-D50 *should* have a good preamp, but I don't (yet) have
the
budget for it. So I'm still using MD.
BTW, if anyone out there wants to sell early HiMD models (NH700 or NH800)
lmk...
