Ah, the break is in the ribbon cable well away from the head (Where it
loops) that may just be fixable.
That said, I've think I've only fixed a ribbon cable one time and I
used a brute force method (Melted down through the plastic and soldered
the break)
I think silver paint or exoxy (For those who don't know this is paint or
epoxy with silver in it so it dries conductive) Might work, be careful
you don't short it out. You may wish to reinforce it a bit
However in a MZ-N1 you may have space limits to deal with as well
Option would be to solder jumpers (or silver epoxy jumpers) from a
distance away Might work better
