ECM-M9907? Did you mean ECM-MS907? I used that for field recording at
music festivals for broadcast use. Fantastic. I am just back from ****t
Fairy (in Australia), where I was using my new Zoom H2 replacement for
the minidisc, and have decided that the ECM-MS907 will definitely be
going with me to the next event (Guildford Blues and Roots Explosion
this weekend) because of the excellent pattern it has which is ideal for
micing interviews! The internal H2 mics give a good result for micing
music, but I want something tighter for interviews.
BTW, we are about a third of the way through a run of 10 +35C days
(37.8C = 100F!), and this is autumn, not summer! I'm going to cook this
weekend!
Cheers
John
