I bought  a JE520 locally through Craigslist last year.  People are 
abandoning Minidisc, and selling their gear at good prices.   I check the 
listings regularly.

I'm actually a little surprised how many people locally had minidisc at 
all.  I never knew of anyone personally, except my immediate family and 
myself.

The JE520 is a nice unit, if you can live with SP only, which isn't a
problem 
for me.  It has a great display (time and text simultaneously) and a nice 
remote.
