Here is my experience, a mic that jacks right into the minidisc player
will pick up the spinning of the disc.  My guess is that you will find
a pattern to the sound when the disc begins to speed up the sound will
be louder, as it slows the sound dissipates.  Of course, if you are
using corded mics you have a problem with the mic-in socket.
