It is really quite easy  MZ---- No upload  MN---- NO upload  MH=Hi MD = 
Upload, If you get at least one of the latest MH units (And it's been a 
while since I followed the numbers) it may be able to upload recordings 
made on the other units  I'm not 100% sure though

In addition there are a few professional models, I suspect they too can 
upload.  I know nothing about those

(Again it's been a while since 
I visited) they used to have a features comparison page, You may find 
this useful   My HI-MD is an older one, it only uploads recordings it 
makes.  But it's a ton of fun
