Thanks, that's an interesting thought. I think I might try using the other
microphone (wired RH channel only) and see if the same thing happens. I'm
fairly
sure (from wiggling the jack in the socket etc) that if there is a
connectivity
problem it's not in the recorder. I've never used the MONO setting because
I
usually record in PCM for quality or Hi-LP for duration. I'll give that a
try
too.
