Thanks for the info about the lights, gully. I had a look on Ebay after
reading your message and the compatible batteries are much less expensive
than I thought so it's well worth getting one. Also, I prodded a bit into
the battery holder with a licky cotton bud and that seemed to do some good
because this time the lights kept fla****ng and when they stopped, the
battery display showed as full. But it is emptying faster than it should
so
I'll get that spare battery. The clip on holder for an AA battery is fine
when travelling but a bit clumsy for everyday use and the unit looks so
good
with the internal battery.
