I strongly suspect the battery is dead. When the unit is charging, the
lights flash in sequence the whole time. I have one that I have owned
and used for about three or four years, and a few months ago my
battery died, or at least wouldn't hold a charge. I bought a battery
from Amazon or Ebay, or somewhere, NOT an original Sony/Sharp battery,
and am very happy with it.
I love this unit, and hope myself to buy a used one. I've got a couple
180s, and 190, and a 20, plus some cheap Sony pos.
