A friend of mine just bought a Rhode Stereo/Video mike to use with his
MiniDisc recorder and though, at $US250 it's a little pricey, it's a true
X-Y
stereo mike and it sounds really good. Primarily designed for mounting on
a
video camera, it also has a mike-stand mount. Good bottom end, great
stereo,
runs on a battery and plugs right-in to a MiniDisc recorder.
