That is one of the programs I do have, however I've not used it save for
some playing around.
Total Recorder has some unique features that the others lack, for one
thing it can record internet streams, It can also record either the
INPUT to the sound card, or the output of the sound card. Programs that
can do that are kind of rare. It records off any input, mic, line, cd,
Digital adapter or even an internet stream, the basic version can be
programmed to record say from noon to 3 pm every Saturday, which happens
to be a radio program I like to listen to, and of course windows can be
programmed to go to the proper URL every week at the pre-set time.
The professional version of Total Recorder can be told to "Go to the url
and record it" every week, and has additional features.
In the Mini Disc world, if you have a file that will PLAY on the
computer, but not transfer.... It will capture it, Very handy but back
before I got my HI-MD, it would capture the Edirol Digital adapter
There is also the fact that I've been using it a long time.
