Re: troubleshooting a defective Sony JB940 MD deck

thanks to all who replied about the problem with my MD deck.  I did
try pulling the plug on it a couple of times hoping it might reset
itself but the still problem persisted.   After about 3 days of it not
working right, I turned the power on one night and it all of a sudden
it was back to working OK!  I'm just guessing it may have been some
sort of internal software conflict that made it act so strange for
several days because it didn't even show any error codes on the
display when it wasn't  working right.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed
that it stays working OK.
