If you have the original CD's, the fastest way to get music on a NetMD is
to
use Sony's Simple Burner software and transfer the music via USB. It will

get song titles from a CDDB on the Internet, so you won't have title the
songs yourself, like you would if you did the transfer via TOSLINK optical

cable.

If all you have are MP3's, you can burn them onto the CD-RW as an Audio
CD,
then transfer using Simple Burner. I don't know if this route will
preserve
song titles, since I don't remember if Simple Burner can read CD-Text.

The downside to Simple Burner is that it only does LP2 and LP4. If you go

the optical cable route, you can record in SP mode (higher quality), but
you'll have to title the tracks yourself unless you get some software to
do
this for you. There is such software out there:

Personally, I find LP2 to be "good enough" for casual, ****table,
listening.
But YMMV.
