That's a little harsh.  I spent more than a few years getting paid to
mix recordings and hear subtle differences in million dollar listening
environments.  I *can* tell the difference.  None the less, I find
high bandwidth mp3 fine for every day listening now that I'm out of
that business.

Yes and I do wish CD quality was 96/24 not 44/16.  Then maybe I'd care
about mp3 vs CD.

I did like your comments on Apple lossless.  Explains why the CD never
sounds as good as the studio mix you send in for production.
