Absolutely! I use MD for interviews and live recording for community 
radio. MD has the huge advantage of an automatic archival copy. The risk 
with use and erase memory cards is losing the original unedited version 
theough slopiness or accident. I have an extra MD which will be used for 
accessing the archival copies once my field machine dies.

I'll probably get an H2, but will have to explicitly set up and maintain 
an archival store.
