You got it right the 1st try, Two computers, one it might be possible to 
run the USB cable, but it's not rally all that handy (plus I am short on 
****ts) as the cable would have to run down a hall

The other is on the other level of the house

And the one on the Turntable level is the one I'm using right now

So the key factor is the multi-task issue.

The extra step is rather easy in any case
