MP3 are both obsolete once devices have enough memory to handle PCM or

next five years.  There's not going to be any more need for it.  Having

that, I'm baffled as to the small sizes of the memory being offered on 
Sony's NW-800 series.  They are allowing you to download lossless files,
so 
I would think they'd have to start it out at at least 30G, not 2G!
