Re: what is a good $50 or less singing mic for pc?

by "msi" <msi@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 24, 2004 at 01:14 PM

Thansk guys. It's weird that the radioshak local to me said they don't
carry
mics.
Umm, would these mics be ok just for singing on my computer and using
sound
blasters wave studio app to record? it comes with the sound blaster audio
platinum cards and i just wanted to sing and record.

What do you guys think the sound would be like? ok i hope right? Umm, my
friend toldme the mic needs a pre amp, but why?

Also what i would like to do is record myself singing and im****t that into
a
song. so my voice would be on top of the singers voice or something . like
this.

i like depeche mode. i would use itunes to rip as a wav i guess, or
something like that. then open it with wave studio. now i would then add
my
voice as a sound in the song and try to get the timming right. so i would
play a song from a cd using ym good sony home theater headphones and i
will
sing, having wave studio record me. then im****t that into the song and
hope
it would fit ok. like the timming be ok. does this sound sort of ok or can
you guys think of a better way to do it? if i could take out the singers
voice and put mine in it, i would, but you can't that i know. and i don't
like the kareoke way of it cus it takes out mono sounds and that aint good
enough.
