also there is a jumper inside to select between pc mike and a normal
mic.  Default (no jumper) is for a pc type mike.  I had to jump the
two pins cause I'm using a old Shure sm57.  I use a cheap xlr to 1/4"
adaptor to get the mic plugged into the Audigy Drive.
