and run by a few muso's we've been around a while so this isn't going to
dissapear suddenly.
You get also free podcasting and blogging and you can even make an iTunes
store compatible podcast for submission to the iTunes Store (which is
free)
So you can get your tracks or deejay sets into the iTunes Store & get a
'phobos' apple iTunes address
If you're tired of Myspace's track limitations, downsampling, lack of play
linking and inability to host deejay sets then give it a go.
Artists/Bands/Producers: 50mb free space, enuff for a good 10-12 tracks
Deejays: 65mb free space which you can use to add and rotate one large
hour-long deejay set if you like (allows an hour set @[EMAIL PROTECTED]

!No advertising on our site! - We host a few banners for people we know
personaly on the main site, but user-created homepages carry NO adverts at
all and no main-site logo or anything - We cover costs by running a
seperate
dedicated partner store with Thomann in Germany which in no way encroaches
on the site, so you're not wading thru tons of off-site loading ad's for
gambling and dating sites and other rubbish.
Please remember this is for original music makers, bands and deejays
creating original songs/tracks, original remixes or deejay sets etc ONLY -
Our site is NOT for adding your favourite mp3 tunes by released artists.
We
aren't so big we can't monitor added tracks and we just delete hosted
songs
by original artists which are copyright so don't even bother coming to the
site to try and do that.
We're always tweaking and adding new stuff, so check it out. You get a
fast
responsive admin too cos it's more like a users club, if members ask for a
feature we can provide we add it wherever possible.
Finaly please note while members do interact on the site and people do get
offers of radio play etc via visitors and we get top google ranks for
search
terms like 'music hosting', this is NOT a buddy-site for young teenagers,
lol, it's a site setup by musicians for musicians with one task, to
provide
decent free hosting and useful musician/band/deejay features in an easy to
use advertising-free environment.
