well, this fellow used an old chineese wok lid

another uses a plastic umbrella http://www.zteck.com/alien/parabolic.htm

i see a few 17" satillite dishes on e-bay that would probably work.

most of the the systems in your size are double your budget.

there is one system on e-bay currently at $283
