You've probably all heard this one before, but I've not heard
the answer. So I apologize if this seems like something you've
already covered on this newsgroup.
I have a Sony Dynamic microphone with a mono phone plug on the
end of it. I want to use it for videoconferencing.
I understand that the problems are two-fold. One is the level
coming from the microphone. The other is that the microphone is a
1/8" two conductor mono plug and the PC has a 1/8" three conductor
plug.
Can anyone suggest an economic solution on how to properly
interface this microphone to the microphone jack. My sound is embeded
on the motherboard. There is no separate sound card.
Regards,
Fred
