i have a 219 and a 319.
having read the lets modify the mic article i would say it smells strongly
of s**** oil. but on the other hand. having had an Oktava apart i'd have
to
say there isn't to much you can do to make them worse. just my opinion but
the build quality is pretty low.
having recently bought a Behringer B1 for studio vocals, and comparing it
favorably with the much more expensive Neumann TLM-103 i can be pretty
sure
you will like the results you get with it.
of course the color is different... but i like ****ny mics :)
