I won't comment in any of the above as I don't have direct experience with
them but you may enjoy a Joe Meek JM37. I also use AT 3525 and BLUE Baby
bottle mics in that price range. I see 3 BLUE's on e-bay now for 250 to
300.
what is it about the c2000 that you don't like?
