Depends on your budget and what mic preamps you use and what kind of
singers you expect.
Mics sound different when plugged into diffferent mic preamps.
A lot also depends on the acoustics of your space. If it's slappy and
funky, you need a mic with a tighter pattern that doesn't pick up the
nasties.
If the singer sings loud enough, they will excite the room anyway and
that may or may not be a good thing.
You can't go wrong with an AT4050. It's a three pattern condenser mic
that you can use on a lot of different things including voice.
The Rode NT2-a is also a good studio starter.
