Help needed to find stereo equipment!

Hi! I've been using the same component stereo system for the past 20
years, and it finally gave up the ghost. Obviously, a lot has changed
in the audio industry since the last time I bought my system, and I'm
a bit lost.

I have hundreds of records and cassettes, and only recently began
buying CD. I don't care about mp3's or whatever they're called.

So I need a receiver/amp, a turntable, dual cassette deck, and a CD
player. A CD recorder would be nice, if they make such things. My
computer and stereo systems are not even in the same room so using my
computer to make music CD's isn't really workable.

But I have no idea where to find stuff like this. Do they even make
turntables and cassette decks anymore?? I also don't know what brands
are currently making quality equipment , and which brands are schlock.

If anyone can point me in the right direction and/or give me any
suggestions or advice, it would be greatly appreciated!
